Central Park
This itinerary offers a walk in one of the most incredible parks in the world combined with a visit to one of the most prestigious museums in the world. Begin your adventure at the Central Park Zoo where seals and grizzly bears greet you. Then walk your way north all the way to the Harlem Meer and the Conservatory Garden. On your way you will be visiting the Metropolitan Museum -a true new York Institution- whose ever changing exhibitions and permanent collections will captivate you for hours. It is also imperative that you visit the Guggenheim, where the building is as extraordinary as the art on its walls. Hungry? During the summer stop at the Loeb Boathouse for a lovely meal lakeside where tourists and New Yorkers alike lazily row about. For a fine dining experience make your way to The Tavern on The Green whose romantic ambiance and picturesque decor cannot be beat. Prefer to stay on the walking path, take a cue from New Yorkers and grab a hot dog at one of the hundreds of food carts scattered about the park, these are also not to be missed!
